The renowned Y-Lift® procedure is a revolutionary patented minimally invasive facelift performed in 30-45 minutes yielding instantaneous, dramatic and natural-looking results. It was famously dubbed the “Miracle 30-Minute Facelift” by Dr. Oz.​

The Y LIFT® is based on the notion that youthful facial contours are shaped like the letter “Y”. If you were to superimpose two “Y” s over the face you would see that one appears wide at the top, spanning the eye & cheekbone region, while the second spans the entire jawline; both narrow down to a point culminating at the chin. As we age, the arms of these “Y” shapes begin to widen steadily downward and resultantly, the face begins to lose structural volume and deflate.

Y-LIFT® Technique

A specialized blunt titanium instrument is inserted beneath the skin and muscle. The muscles are lifted by the instrument and FDA-approved hyaluronic acid fillers are then injected to hold the muscle in its newly elevated place. The strength of the muscle maintains the filler in place and gives lift and prevents sagging. The face is then sculpted by hand. Filler is not injected into the skin and there is no use of needles like in regular filler injections.

The Y-Lift® is performed under local anesthetic. Results of the Y-Lift® typically last 2 – 4 years.

Different than a normal dermal filler session, Y-Lift® requires fillers to be injected deeper into the skin and in a “Y” shape. By adding structural volume to these key points of the face, the skin starts to support itself. This, in turn, contours your face in a natural and more youthful way.

  •  The Y-Lift® is suitable for most patients, male + female, ages 20 – 90 years old
  • Female Patients: accentuates the cheekbones, improves under eye hollowness, defines the jawline + lifts the upper neck
  • Male Patients: builds coveted masculine facial features (subtle cheek projection and a more prominent jawline)
  • Ideal for younger patients who desire higher cheekbones and/or more defined jawline

 The only side effect patients may encounter with their Y-Lift® procedure is mild swelling. This should subside quickly and disappear completely within a day or two. Minor bruising can also occur, but it is rare.

Since this is a minimally invasive method, there is no downtime following a Y-Lift® and no prep prior to the procedure either. Patients can safely resume their normal daily routine immediately after treatment.

Y-Lift® injections are always customized to help enhance your natural features and improve the shape of your face. This means every single Y-Lift® will be done differently. A large portion of the results can be seen immediately, however, it can take up to two weeks to show the full results.

Due to the fact that Y-Lift® uses dermal fillers to achieve the end-goals, they are able to last for up to two and a half years depending on the specific case and treatment area. Therefore, the results are not permanent. As the aging process continues, some maintenance is recommended.
