Cannabidiol/ CBD

CBD is a powerful plant extract that has been used for medicinal purposes for thousands of years. CBD is one of the many cannabinoids that is extracted from the hemp plant. The hemp plant is different from a marijuana plant in that the hemp is specifically bred to contain less THC (the part of the marijuana plant that gives euphoric/ hallucinogenic effects).

Our CBD products are all organic, have 0.0% THC, and no harsh chemicals. They also contain terepens and flavonoids making our broad-spectrum CBD an excellent option for a number of health ailments including chronic pain, migraines, muscle spasms, arthritis, and inflammation.

PiezoWave

Piezo Wave is one of our favorite therapies for pain! PiezoWave is a device that is classified as myofascial acoustic compression therapy. It uses acoustic waves to target damaged tissue to manipulate and compress tissue.

This manipulation increases circulation and reduces pain, while providing a precise deep tissue massage. It can be used for the treatment of acute and chronic pain in muscles, tendons, and joints. It is non-invasive, quick, and comfortable. It can be used to improve mobility, reduce pain medications, and locate and alleviate musculoskeletal pain.

Why PiezoWave?
• 10-minute procedure that decreases pain quickly
• Penetrates deeper than a deep tissue massage with better results
• Utilizes ultrasound and acoustic shock waves to increase blood flow to the area and decrease

Why CBD?
• Decrease pain
• Improve sleep
• Boost mood
• NO THC

Ketamine IV Therapy

Ketamine is a medication that is considered a safe, non-addictive treatment for chronic pain, medication resistant depression, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and active suicidal ideations.

The World Health Organization considers Ketamine to be one of the most efficacious, safest “essential medicines” known to science. Ketamine is an N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor antagonist. When individuals suffer from pain their NMDA receptor amplifies the pain signals and play a part in opioid tolerance.

Clinical studies have shown that Ketamine can help reduce or reverse opioid tolerance while downregulating inflammation. Research has also demonstrated that Ketamine limits microglial activation, which reduce pain transmission. Schedule a consultation to discuss if Ketamine is right for you.

Why Ketamine IV therapy?
• Safe, non- addictive treatment for chronic pain, depression, anxiety, PTSD
• Research demonstrates it can reduce opioid tolerance and dependency
• Medically supervised treatment by board certified anesthesiologist

Neural Prolotherapy / Peri-neural therapy

Perineural Injection Therapy (Neural Prolotherapy) is an exciting breakthrough in the treatment of pain! Perineural Injection Therapy combines the treatment principles of both neural therapy and prolotherapy.

In neural therapy small subcutaneous injections are injected along the path of superficial nerves. Prolotherapy injections use a dextrose solution (sugar water) as an agent to facilitate healing and tissue repair. The dextrose solution works by immediately blocking the nerve endings that are responsible for the nerve pain and inflammation with the associated superficial nerves. This leads to healing beneath the nerve to deeper structures like the associated muscles, tendons, ligaments and cartilage of involved joints.

Patients with nerve pain can experience pain relief and improved range of motion within seconds. This therapy is an excellent treatment option for patients suffering from neuropathy, headaches, muscle pain, painful joints/ligaments, and fibromyalgia- to name a few! Most patients require 4-6 treatments for a mild-moderate condition with additional treatments for more severe conditions.

Why prolotherapy?
• Improve neuropathy pain
• Down regulate the inflammatory cascade
• Facilitate natural healing

Sphenopalatine Nerve Ganglion Block

The Sphenopalatine Nerve Ganglion (SPG) is associated with the cranial nerve V, the trigeminal nerve. The Trigeminal nerve is the largest cranial nerve and is responsible for facial sensation. This nerve is commonly involved with migraines and headache disorders.

The SPG is responsible for innervating the sinuses as well as the glands that cause tears, which is why during a migraine some individuals experience tearing, nasal drainage, nausea, sweating, and vomiting. When a headache or migraine occurs, the SPG causes vasodilation which allows for the inflammation to activate the pain receptors in the brain. Blocking the nerve has been shown to reduce migraine and headache frequency, intensity, and duration.

The procedure takes less than 15 minutes and is administered through the nares with a cotton tip applicator and anesthetic.

Why Sphenopalatine Nerve Ganglion Block?
• Quick and painless
• Reduces duration, frequency, and intensity of headaches and migraines
• Excellent alternative to medications or injections
