The O-Shot: Moms Are Loving the New Procedure

It’s the new procedure promising to increase sexual arousal and rejuvenate the vagina — it’s called the O-Shot®. And moms are here for it! It’s time to regain feminine wellness safely and efficiently.

Sex, sexual well-being, and sexual pleasure have largely been subjects surrounded by stigma, more so when it comes to women. Sexual rejuvenation is a term used to describe both surgical and nonsurgical procedures that help turn back the clock. Sexual health is underrated and any sexual ailment is under-corrected.

“Women really need more scientific solutions,” states Dr. Runels, creator of the O-Shot®. “The time of counseling, KY Jelly, and a vibrator is over. Those things may still help … but we had that decades ago and unfortunately that’s all most women are still being offered.”

What is the O-Shot®?

The O-Shot® PRP injection is a new technique that helps women improve their sexual health and orgasm response with a single, simple treatment. The O-Shot® can also help improve symptoms of urinary incontinence. This easy in-office procedure is safe and virtually painless.

The Regenerative Medicine & Biologics Institute doctor will draw a sample of blood and use a centrifuge to isolate platelet-rich plasma (PRP) — a process that takes about 10 minutes.

While the blood is processing, a doctor will apply a numbing agent to the injection site. When the area is numb and the PRP is ready, we will use a very thin needle to inject the PRP into the clitoris and upper vagina. The O-Shot® is a painless procedure.

The plasma contains platelets, which have over 7 different growth factors to help stimulate tissue growth and nerve sensitivity.

Results of the Painless O-Shot® for Women

For most women, the results of the O-Shot® are noticeable almost immediately. Women of all ages report an increased sensitivity of the clitoris and G-spot area resulting in stronger orgasms and multiple orgasms even when they have not experienced them before. The full effects may not be seen for up to three to four weeks after treatment. In rare cases, there may not be any noticeable effect, but the O-Shot® can be repeated after eight weeks for women who want to see better results or boost the satisfactory effects of their first shot.
